There is a combination airfield and museum in Owl's Head, Maine, just south of Rockland on the coast. It is a very active operation with meets, shows, workshops and demonstrations nearly every weekend during the summer. My favorite is the Truck and Tractor show they hold every July (Yeah, I know, big surprise...) They usually have a mini-airshow in conjunction with it, with flying examples of many aircraft, some predating World War One.
